This is a new model i did for my new show reel  and the concept was a warrior/killer/hunter female and i tried to do it in a semi realistic style

A bit of Wonderland

This was a bit of a long project i have been working on. It took longer than i thought since i had to work with maya Grass and particles for the first time. I am more of a modeler not a technical guy. Anyhow I am very satisfied with the final outcome

I used Maya for modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering ( mentalray) and then used after effects to composite them. I rendered things in seprate layers so i can easily composite them. i had a foreground layer, mid ground layer, back ground layer, Castle in another layer and finaly the sky

Bane Z brush model

So this is the final version of the z brush model i made based on Bane from the movie The dark knight rises .
This is my first Z brush model so it took some time as i did it while self taught the software.

Another quick drawing using my ipad , did it while having a random talk with my housemates about mythical creatures, girl farts and other creepy stuff ... good days .. good days

I was sick the past week so didnt get to do much z brush work as i planned to do but  here is a drawing of Batman i did while i was in the bed . used my ipad to do this quick sketch 

At the same time i did it as a lighting study . its always fun to play around with shadows and light

Bane - Z brush

"When Gotham is Ashes you have my permission to Die"  - Bane (the dark knight rises)


Batman always will be my favorite super hero. After watching The Dark knight rises for the second time i knew i have to do something on this wonderful franchise. So i decided to do Bane the villan of the movie completely in Z brush . And this is my first proper model/sculpt made in Z brush .. Still i have to texture it so for now this is the finished model.

Frozen in Time ( student animated short)

so I graduated and here is the final year project i did ... its a 3D animated short film about this teenager who finds a magic wand which actually works !!! enjoy

Busy times

I have been really busy in the past few months hence i never got time to put anything new even though i do have lots of things to share including a group animation short that i did and the final semester project that i am working on which is an individual  animation feature..

here are some quick pencil sketches i did while waiting for things to render and when im tired of work :) enjoy
